After spending 9 years honing my skills cooking professionally, I have truly become a master of the kitchen. Beginning my career in various positions within restaurants, from line cook to sous chef to back of house management, I have gained invaluable experience and expertise in every aspect of the industry. The cuisines that I’ve grown my expertise in are predominately American and Italian food, but I’ve also gained a firm understanding of Mexican cuisine more recently as well. However, it was during my time as a professional chef that I discovered my true passion for the art of cooking. I found myself delving deeper into the why's and how's of creating delicious dishes, studying food science and the history behind different cuisines. This newfound fascination led me to a more academic approach to cooking, where I found immense joy in understanding the intricate details and techniques that go into preparing a perfect meal. Now, I have transitioned from the fast-paced environment of a commercial kitchen to a more intimate setting where I can share my love for cooking with friends and family. Hosting dinner parties has become my new creative outlet, as I absolutely love crafting memorable meals and engaging in lively conversations about food. I thoroughly enjoy teaching others about the joys of cooking, sharing my knowledge and skills to inspire others to explore their culinary talents.
