Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

A delicious chocolate pudding that's gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan. Please note, it takes at least 3 hours of chill time before the pudding is ready to eat.

Cooking Tools Required

Measuring cups and spoons, Mixing bowls, Spatula, Whisk

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 8 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 3 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 cup chia seeds

Instructions

  • Add cocoa powder, cinnamon and salt to a mixing bowl
  • Add to the mixing bowl vanilla extract and maple syrup
  • Mix to a smooth paste
  • Add 1/4 cup almond milk slowly while whisking until smooth
  • Add in the remaining almond milk and combine
  • Stir in chia seeds
  • Refrigerate until set approximately 3 to 5 hours
  • Optional garnish sliced strawberries or other fruit
Reheating Instructions
Serve cold
