12-inch nonstick skillet, Colander, Cutting board, Measuring cups and spoons, Pot with lid, Sharp Knives, Tongs, Top Stove

Ingredients

  • 20 ounce chicken breast sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried basil)
  • 2 clove garlic minced
  • 8 ounce green bean trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for sautéing green beans
  • 2 cup orzo pasta cooked

Instructions

  • Cook orzo according to package directions.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add sliced chicken and garlic. Cook for 6–7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Add lemon juice and basil. Stir and cook 1–2 minutes more.
  • In a separate pan, sauté green beans in olive oil for 5–6 minutes until tender.
  • Serve chicken and green beans over orzo pasta.
