Instructions
- Over medium heat, sauté onion in coconut oil until translucent. Add red pepper, cumin, garlic powder, parsley, cayenne pepper, and salt and pepper. Sauté for 5 minutes more, and remove from heat. Once cool, add ground turkey to the mix, and form 5 oz. patties, which roughly translates to a patty that is 3 ½ inches wide by 3/8 inch thick.
- Prep a cooktop grill pan or outdoor grill to medium high (1 tsp coconut oil optional for cooking burgers). Cook patties for about 4 minutes per side for medium.
- Burgers freeze well. Make sure to securely wrap & freeze for a back-up meal!

- 2 teaspoon ground cumin more or less to taste
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes, adjust per heat preference
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder minced
- 1 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper adjust as needed
