Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Place the beef bones on a baking sheet and roast them for 35 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
  • Place the roasted bones into the bowl of your Instant Pot with the remaining ingredients.
  • Pressure cook for 90 minutes on the high manual setting.
  • Strain the broth when you remove it from the pot, and discard the solids.
  • Season with sea salt if desired.

Ingredients

  • 2 pound beef bones small enough to fit into pressure cooker. Suggestions: Bones - Cross section bines (from Legs) that have marrow. Knuckle Bones that have cartilage, ask the butcher to cut those down to fit into pressure cooker.
  • 1 onion large cut into 4ths
  • 2 stalk celery broke into halves
  • 1 carrot large, broke in half
  • 5 whole black peppercorns
  • 10 cup water

Optional:

  • sea salt more or less to taste

Reheating/Serving Instructions
Heat in the microwave on high power or on the stovetop until heated through.
